Pelvic Sonogram
A Pelvic Sonogram is an evaluation of the female reproductive organs such as the uterus and ovaries. Pelvic Sonograms are commonly ordered by your doctor due to complaints of pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, or to evaluate a mass in the pelvis. A pelvic sonogram may help to determine if there are fibroids, ovarian cysts, or endometrial disorders in the pelvis. Exams are considered safe, painless, and are typically performed within 20 minutes. Exams may include a Transabdominal and Endovaginal Sonogram to provide the most information for your healthcare provider.

We provide Pelvic, Breast and Follicular Study Ultrasounds

Ovulation / Follicular Sonogram
Ovulation Sonograms are performed to aid in determining ovulation for patients wanting to conceive. During this test, follicles are counted and measured to provide patients with the ideal moment for conception. Exams are considered safe, painless, and are typically performed within 20 minutes. Exams may include a Transabdominal and Endovaginal Sonogram to provide the most information for your healthcare provider.

Breast Sonogram
Breast ultrasound is used to provide your doctor with information regarding the health of your breasts. Ultrasound can aid your physician in locating breast tumors and cysts as small as a few millimeters in size. Breast sonograms are commonly ordered after a mammogram has shown an inconclusive or questionable diagnosis. Ultrasound is also used for women younger than age 30 or that are breast feeding to evaluate palpable masses or areas of tenderness. Breast Sonograms are considered painless, safe, and are typically performed within 10-20 minutes. If you have had a mammogram, please bring or have most recent mammography films sent to our office before your exam.
